Malaysia: Country needs future leaders to have altruistic values instilling, says minister

Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, Chief Secretary to the Malaysian Government, said the role of young leaders grounded in altruism was vital to creating stability and well-being for the Malaysian Family.

In a speech to the Global Young Executive Forum 2022, Mohd Zuki underlined the need for future leaders to lead by example, saying that altruistic values and openness must be instilled and nurtured in every young leader to serve the Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family) and country in the best and most effective way.

‘The issue of integrity needs to be emphasised and not taken lightly. I hope that all these young leaders will remain committed to delivering the best service with integrity,’ he said.
